Listed here are compiled and public comments left on a website. I do not agree nor disagree with them. I added them because you will never see a media outlet post one.. ( other than in a public forum)

Ok first of all your talking about Starke County. You have a bunch of stupid people from Knox that hold these positions.

It is about time someone started paying attention to where money goes in Starke County...I think the whole county should be audited to see where all the money goes or how it is misused!!!!

All the commissioners should go to start with. Aren't they supposed to watch over this stuff? One isn't up for re-election yet, one isn't running for re-election so that is good, but one is. *VOTE* 2 problems could be gone right off the bat, but will it happen?

Maybe some of you should attend a Commissioner and Council meeting. Everyone should at least once.

It is too bad this story is inaccurate. The State is not to blame! The responsibility lies with the County officials period, the meager attempts to blame it on the state are merely smokescreens. The issue remains there is a large amount of money unaccounted for, and that should alarm the citizens of this county! Go to the council and commissioner meetings, make your voice heard. Be warned though this government is getting an increasing rep of not holding public opinion in very high regard.

The $$ has been spent and no details disclosed. WE CAN NOT LET THIS BE IT! The Commissioners(& the Auditor)need to be held accountable for spending this money before "knowing" what it was for. It is their JOB! Do not let them plea ignorance and let it slide. If they can't do their job, vote for someone that can. Elections are approaching-make your vote count! Now what are we to do for the rest year???

Well sure its a cover up. This county is run by friends and family. Look at the folks involved and then look into what all they are involved in. How many family members are working together?

The upcoming Election is important. Important because everyone has that right to do the right thing and vote. It is a sacred priveledge! In my many years of living... I know that people who complain.. Do Not Vote! They just complain more and say that their vote wont matter or doesnt count. Look at how close the last Knox Mayoral Election was.

Another thought and reflection of Tater... He's right! Nepotism is the Key word here. That is also a final product of people voting for a party and not a person. So in this case nepotism is not just limited to supervising family but also friends of a party. There are Republicans that act like Democrats and Democrats that act like Republicans. This is a small but yet growing community. You should vote the person and not the party!. Take the time and investigate the current candidates. Just because they are an incumbent doesnt mean they are solely to blame. Look at the whole big picture. Sometimes its two against one.

Heres something interesting. In the past week I have left 3 messages for attorney Nick Bourff of Nickles, Wallsmith & Weaver just asking him to return my call. I also left 2 messages for Dick Ballard to call me back and he didn't call either so I called welfare dept. Kathleen Cooley and she didn't return my call either. All I needed was a paper revolking a POA and question about Medicade. Pretty sad when no one returns a call.

Ya, a bunch of low life scum bag residents live in Knox. The dirt bag, trailer trash neighborhood of Indiana. Take a drive down the streets, run down homes. Take a drive downtown, many vacant store fronts.

The best thing to do with Knox is to blow it up, plow it down, and haul it away to the local landfill.
