Chuck Estok is on the Council and Dennis Estok is running for Surveyor!
It is so unfortunate that politics in starke county is clouded with nepotism. No wonder we dont have any checks and balances in place. Starke County= Hazzard County,

Chuck Estok is on the County Council. Dennis Estok is running for Surveyor. Priscilla Upp is the Center Township Assessor and is the sister of Chuck Estok and Dennis Estok and works with Rhonda Milner who is dating Mike Estok who is the brother of Chuck Estok and Dennis Estok and Priscilla Upp. All the Estoks are the brother-in-law of Freddie Baker who is a deputy sheriff. Nice and cozy!! Estok = nepotism

Voters need to know this kind of stuff and include it with "vote out whoever is in" And keep the rest of the family out also.
I guess thats what the Estoks want keep us in the dark? who do they think they are fooling? Seems also we have a few more jumping to get in the game too. Sounds like its not just them trying to latch on here.. More Nepotism! This blog needs to get out to more voters!

You want to talk about nepotism? Look no further that the Starke County Auditor's office - Michaelene Houston. She has always used her office as a hiring hall for her family. Check out the crowd of her relatives who work in her office. Also, her husband, Jeff Houston, was appointed Clerk-Treasurer for Knox.
What surprises me is that anyone is surprised by any of this. In Starke County it doesn't matter what you can do, it's just who you know or are related to,
It doesn't just end with Estoks or Houstons. It's everywhere.
And just keeps on going and going and going!
Heres the deal! If a majority feel that nepotism is an issue.. Several things can happen. First hand, Seeing Dan Bridegroom and his wife, Jackie will both be in violation of nepotism... Then one can resign or Dan can do the right thing at minimum when he becomes commissioner and pass a county ordinance prohibiting further nepotism. Seems that nepotism is in the UPS handbook. I hope he still has his UPS handbook? If not I can get one for him and post it for him here online. As for Dennis and Chuck.. That can be easily resolved too. The Hiring Hall that the Houstons have can be remedied as well. I read Chuck's Challenge in another post, For the chicken's out here,(as he puts it) I will give a $2,000.00 campaign contribution for any democrat or republican to run against Chuck, Michaelene, Jackie, and any others in violation of nepotism in the next election!
Wow! I hope he uses that handbook, after all it was his claim to fame . . . micromanage.

since when is running for a office even though you are related called nepotism. it is a free country and it doesn;t matter if you are related to another office holder.now i suppose you will make some comment about linda belork and judy benninghoff. they are sisters.

i noticed that one lady commissioner has the same last name as one of the neices of linda belork and someone in the sherriffs office also shares that last name, neice was also let go from treasurers office. i also noticed that linda belork shares the same last name as a knox police officer whos wife is a cousin to mr bridegrooms daughter-in law married to his son jeremey. i have also heard that jeremey and his wife stick it to everyone they can, as to getting out of paying people for about everything they get. man, i cant believe what goes on in knox, it really scares me..
